The basic principle

The process used for the manufacture of micro-components was inspired by Liga technology (lithography, electroplating, moulding), the difference being that we use an ultraviolet luminous source rather than X-rays.

The advantages of this method are that it is inexpensive and can be quickly brought into play, all of which makes the process very competitive in comparison to traditional methods (electro-erosion, swaging).

Ideal for rapid prototyping and for mid-sized series, this process enables us to attain a level of extreme precision (micrometric), as well as a poli-mirror surface quality.
